Mud Left By Floods in East Jakarta Sucked

15 officers of East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept. is spraying mud left by floods in RW 08 Kampung Melayu Urban Village and RW 06 Balekambang, Kramat Jati. To optimize it, three mobile pumps have been sent to such places.

Gatot Sulaiman, Section Head of Fire Handling and Rescue said, two pumps are alerted in RW 08 Kampung Melayu. These pumps are focused on neighborhood roads and alleys that have mud. Locals are also preparing five pumps.

"We help spraying mud in RW 08 Kampung Melayu. The focus is on the streets and alleys," he stated, Saturday (2/10).

He assessed, the obstacle that he faced is a lot of mud began to dry, either in the corner of the small alley and in the water channel.

In the meantime, on Jalan Kayumanis RT 07/06 Balekambang, the officer helped do the suction. Because in the location there are still puddles as high as about 30 centimeters. Water puddle is sucked and dumped into Ciliwung River.
